Both stations are owned by the same company, so it's not that much of a change. In fact in 2006 they moved them from KPRC over to KTRH.
So now they're back.
But the KPRC radio website doesn't mention anything about the switch, and Rush and Sean are not shown as being on the station. So I don't know if Mark Levin and Michael Berry are moving too.
Or even if this is only temporary.
Probably something to do with the 16” of rain Houston got recently. It’s flooding all over.
Maybe it has something to do with the flooding there.
AM 740 dedicated to covering the bad weather.
They did the same thing with Rush and Kfi640 Los Angeles.
They have a sister station called the patriot at 1150am.
Has to do with ratings and possible boycotting of sponsors I guess. Though Rush at this point should be happy to not only be on short wave the way he’s been going.
740 is covering the flooding. They are taking calls from drivers on which roads are flooded and which ones are cleared. Excellent coverage, very helpful.
Maybe because so many people are tuning out.
2016 has been the most illuminating election in American history.
Rush is clearly a GOPe stooge.
He can suck it.
His show is getting more and more lame and he is fighting for relevance?
Rush’s home station 740 AM is traditionally used as a dedicated public service local news channel in emergency situations like massive flooding and hurricanes. Rush is moved to another channel, temporarily bumping the regular programming. Rush is always be on at his regular time, just not necessarily on his regular station. Not so with Hannity or other shows. This is probably in Rush’s contract.
But the KPRC radio website doesn’t mention anything about the switch...
Generally, shows temporarily bumping another station’s show are not mentioned on the website. If you don’t hear Rush on 740 AM, switch over to 950 AM and he’ll be there. Next day, Rush will be back on 740 AM unless the emergency situation still continues. Some shows are bumped for sports events and are only streamed online, but never Rush. He’ll always be on the alternate station.
Proving again that there is no thread on FR where you cannot find someone whining about something.
He has to at least be getting tired by now. It has been almost 30 years. His money bucket is brimming full.
One bucket for money and one for crap. When one bucket gets full you go home.
That was speculation.
Interesting observation. I think the democRATS are working overtime to disrupt the elections and this is on tactic.
The good news with that is no Michael Berry this morning either.
Dude. Just look. Most important election in our lifetimes, and convervatives are complaining about Rush Limbaugh. Seriously? LOL
Oh, and on a Houston flood thread. LOLOL
GOLF?
