Ted Cruz’s pending mathematical elimination and the Colorado Disaster are game changing events that put Donald Trump well on the road to winning the 1237 delegates he will need to win the Republican nomination.
New York’s primary will eliminate Cruz. His magic number to be eliminated is just 49. He’s not even campaigning in New York.
This is game changer number one. When Cruz is not only eliminated but blown away and humiliated in the most delegate rich, Northeastern state, how will the GOPe sell him to the remaining Republican primary states? Clearly they won’t be able to make the case for Cruz elsewhere because he will have proved he can’t win any more states than Romney did. How does Cruz campaign in the remaining states? Who would listen to him?
When voters are given the choice between voting for Trump and voting to have a contested convention in which the GOP establishment will select MITTBUSHJEBDOLEPAULMCCAIN or another proven loser, they will vote for Trump.
The second game changer is the Disaster in Colorado. It makes no difference that Cruz and the Colorado GOPe followed their rules. In politics, perception is reality. We’ve got the CO party hack system figured out pretty well.
“The CO delegates were originally slated to all go for Jeb Bush. There wasn’t chance in the world that they were going anywhere else.
No one planned for Jeb to be sidelined, but Trump did it anyway.
So Jeb dropped out.
Since he has suspended his campaign, they needed an insider to be a place holder for the delegates and that turns out to be Cruz, who will control those delegates until the Convention, then, after a few slight of hand tricks, they are slated to go back to Jeb, or maybe Mitt.
Coach puppy is all about desperation.
That and a huge helping of fantasy if he thinks Trump “won” anything from his Colorado failures.

Six tenths of a percent is written .6% not .06%. I thought it was more than 6000 though. Getting different numbers and not sure exactly how it worked. I thought it was something like 60,000.
Looks like coach is wrong again.
Cruz won’t quit even if he does not have a path to the nomination.
His sole purpose now is to stop Trump for the Cheap
Labor Express so they can nominate an amnesty candidate.
We will not be allowed to elect a President who enforces the laws and borders.

Wrong on not, like it or not, public perception is that Cruz and the GOPe cheated Trump in Colorado.
Cruz has asked Kasich to drop out multiple times since it is not possible for him to win.
Once eliminated, he should follow his own advise. If not, he’s a hypocrite.
