A pro-Israel activist says Fox News commentator Geraldo Rivera revealed his ignorance when he accused Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz of being anti-Semitic.
While Rivera calls himself a Republican, it's apparent he doesn't like Senator Cruz. During a recent appearance on the Fox News Channel's The O'Reilly Factor, he made the following prediction about Cruz's chances in the upcoming New York GOP primary – and then defended his allegations on Fox & Friends:
Rivera: "I think that he [Cruz] is going to get routed in New York – and deservedly so, aside from the stinking anti-Semitic implications that I see in that whole New York values, money, and media-coded message that he put out there pandering to those Iowa voters."
Rivera: "[That message] was designed to bring to the heartland the negative impression of greedy New Yorkers trying to take money out of people's pockets – and I think the association is indelible and undeniable."
Laurie Cardoza-Moore, president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, tells OneNewsNow that Rivera doesn't know what he's talking about.
"There's never been a statement by Senator Cruz that would even come close to allowing someone to believe that he's an anti-Semite," she begins. "He's not talking about Jews in New York – he's talking about the liberal establishment in New York City.
"[Rivera is] trying to interject his opinion into something that he has no business opining on, especially when it's false."
In fact, says Cardoza-Moore, Cruz's father sent a clear message that his son will support Israel unconditionally....

Presently the establishment needs him and he has willingly accepted their help, in return for what .. ? That would make a interesting discussion in itself.

Don’t like Geraldo. He’s like an overly aggressive Juan Williams, but that may be because of his white-hispanic privilege.
His stories are over the top, and his opinions are over dramatized.
Is Cruz anti-Semitic? Probably not, but it is possible. The Ted Cruz that’s been revealed to me over the campaign leads me to believe he’s intellectually dishonest, and likes to grandstand.
He doesn't talk about what he is for me too on Trump issues.

And if you saw any of those pathetic displays of his "Dancing with the Stars" gig they had ad nauseum on Fox for a few days, you'd know this cat to be terminally caucasion.

Given the number of Cruz signs in Crown Heights, Geraldo’s attack would be amusing if it was not so predictable.
