“Why we’re known as the stupid party.”

Those who claim to be Republicans and support the Donald is what makes the party stupid.

Exactly. It’s just common sense.

uh, maybe because Cruz is actually a Republican and not playing one in name only like Trump? But hey, I completely understand why you support a documented LIBERAL NY DEMOCRAT as Trump has clearly stated that he is and has a history of showing he is one.

What a bunch of hypocrites these politicians are. You must pledge loyalty to the party but one a person is elected he is released form all campaign promises and all party ideals.

I am voting for Sarah Palin. She showed loyalty to the people over the party and got several rePUBlicans removed from office for various crimes.

I don’t support Trump the man. I support Trump as the wrecking ball needed to destroy the GOP and the Dems.

You decry the GOP in your tagline but you support a guy who is “actually a Republican” for President?

I like the fact that Trump has no history inside the corrupt party system. Cruz cut his political teeth working for the Bush machine.

Trump is the only US born candidate who can upset the applecart. If he builds the wall and keeps the Jihadis out, great. If he fails, too bad. At least there’s a slim chance for the pot to get stirred.

Anybody else and it’s the same old, same old.

If Cruz is the real deal, why doesn’t the GOP spend a fraction of the time and effort attacking him as they do Trump?

If Ted Cruz was the "real deal," he would have correctly blamed protesters for violence rather than a fellow candidate. If Ted Cruz was the "real deal," he would not have been allowed to be part of the RNC at the same time he was supposedly "rogue;" if Ted Cruz was the "real deal," Mitch McConnell would have made an example of him that would have ended his political career; if Ted Cruz was the "real deal," he would have told the Bush dynasty "thanks, but no thanks;" if Ted Cruz was the "real deal," he would not have been "blindsided" (which he, of course, wasn't) into helping pass TPA (and thus TPP). The GOP-e knows who Ted is well enough to co-opt him and place their ground machine at his disposal- they don't do that for someone they don't control.

Now that the GOP machine owns him, Ted has fixated on Trump just as they have, as opposed to earlier in the race when he would at least go through the motions of talking policy. And he sure as hell hasn't been saying anything about the Corrupt Bastards Club ever since he allowed them to pay his membership dues.

I would not argue that. Ted and I are now divorced. We have parted company.

A Trump third party *might* succeed, but more likely the eGOP would lose State, local, and federal elections. The eGOP as a party would be finished.

I don’t really care what methods are used to get a true conservative into the White House. So yes, I’m fine with Cruz outmaneuvering Trump here.

The real question is if Donald is such a great executive (hire the best!) why is he completely unable to run an actual campaign ground game?

For months I read all the crap from the GOPe and liberals about how Trump wasn’t really that great a business man. I rejected it all as nonsense. Now? Sort of rings true.

Cruz has demonstrated over and over again his willingness to sell out citizens on important issues (trade, withholding support for GOP primary candidates for Senate, support for MConnell). He will cheat, lie, use any sleazy or dirty tactic to screw the voters wishes. He is GOPe to the core.

Couldn’t sleep and made mistake of waking up and reading this. Now I can’t sleep. I live in Colorado and attended the Republican Caucus (first time) in Fort Collins. II’m so disgusted that I belong to the Colorado Republican Party.

This year I spent 3 hours and attended the Primary caucus in Fort Collins. It was a sham. It was obvious from the outset that Cruz was the goal. Our precinct vote was held on scraps of paper that you wrote who you wanted for president. My precinct was 24 for Cruz and 5 for Trump. The delegate that was elected when questioned how she would vote in the state Primary convention said she would vote for Cruz. When asked who her second choice would be if Cruz was not available, she said Carson, and Carson had already dropped out.

Folks, this is happening everywhere. If you think you vote counts, you have another think a’coming.

and another post

This is what is going on in Springfield Mo. I managed to be selected as both a district and state delegate for Missouri and will do everything in my power to stop this bullshit. Any other Trumpsters going to Branson for the state convention?http://springfieldnewsleader.mo.newsmemory.com/publink.php?shareid=3baf2a376

Cruz is not a conservative. He is a sleazy. lying sheep suit member of the GOPe. He will support open borders, free trade deals, gun restrictions, and further reduction on individual liberties all under the disguise of helping the people. He is no different that Obama and Hillary and a step in the vile mud below McConnell and Ryan.

Glad to see you support the open borders, free trade destruction of jobs, common core, sensible gun restrictions, and Liberal judges supported by your Republican GOPe friends.

The ends justified the means, eh comrade? And about that "conservative into the WH thing"

Ted Cruz is not a constitutional-conservative. Were Cruz really a constitutional-conservativehe would not be running for president. There is no way in he[[ that the son of a Cuban born in Canada is a natural born citizen of the United States under original intent.

There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted for the Corker amendment.

There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted to reauthorize the Patriot Act.

There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted for the TPP enabling TPA.

Ted Cruz is also a liar, conservatives used to not like liars.

I hope you'll are happy standing with Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Lindsey Gram, Paul Ryan, Carly Fiorina, Nicky Haley, Golden Sachs, The Club for Growth and the entire globalist GOPe establishment. Oh Obama and Mexico our on your side now too, congrads.

You missed a point. We can have a liberal big government or a conservative big government. The problem is not liberal or conservative. THE PROBLEM IS BIG GOVERNEMNT.

The problem this election cycle is tens of millions of people in this country illegally. Elect anyone other then Trump and those people will be voting in just a few years. What do you think happens to the USA when millions of new Marxist Rat voters come on line? Believe me Mr GOPe, Ted Cruz, is not going to deport in spite of his lies to the contrary.

We have one chance to save the USA from the anti-American globalists that want to implement their NWO. Heidi Cruz helped write the CFR plan to replace the USA with a North American Union. Cruz is a globalist! Vote Trump or lose the country to the globalists, it is that simple.

Liz, the slogan “NO TRUMP NO VOTE” is probably music to the RNC because it’s coming from Trump supporters.

They don’t care if Hillary gets, they care only that Trump is stopped. If Hillary gets in, their cozy arrangement continues. If Trump gets in, it all ends. This has been confirmed by a tweet from Donald Jr.

I don’t really know what should replace “NO TRUMP NO VOTE” but it should be something that sends them a terrifying message,

Perhaps NO TRUMP NO RNC.
