When Cleveland won the convention bid, it was thought the event would bring the nation's attention to the city which has fought hard to put decades of negative press behind it. It may end up being Ground Zero II.

I fear this is not going to be a peaceful summer. Chicago of 1968 might pale in comparison. Perhaps an opportunity for the suspension of Habeas Corpus and the Posse Comitatus Act...

After all, you shouldn't let a good crisis go to waste...

I saw an interview this morning with a reporter who was in Chicago in 1968, and she said it was horrible, frightening, etc.

Kasich keeps saying how it’s going to be “fun” or something like that. I doubt it.
