To Donald Trump supporters everywhere: We have work to do. Real work. A lot of work. All of us.
Since last summer, it looked like Donald Trump’s momentum and power was unstoppable. It was easy to cheer him on, watch him rack up victory after victory, and get excited for a likely nomination and balls-out battle against Hillary. We knew the backlash was fierce and the opponents were minion, but they were losing the arguments, and Mr. Trump’s numbers just kept rising. It was a really fun and joyful experience.
Today, it’s different. Mr. Trump is a magnificent campaigner, but he cannot win by himself; he needs us. The game has changed and it’s serious. The whole world is now pointing its guns at Donald Trump.
Now that we know a flat-out win of 1,237 delegates is increasingly difficult (but not impossible), we are faced with not only a brokered convention, but an unleashing of much more ugly, cynical, dishonest tactics paid for by enormously wealthy people (both Democrats and Republicans) who care nothing for We The People and little for the long-term protection of the sovereign United States our Constitution defines.
We now need all of you supporters, not just a small minority, to stop, evaluate how you spend our time, and decide what activities you are willing to set aside until election day. What you are willing to do, and how much time are you willing to spend doing it? Do the math and come up with your answer. It is time to rally. You know this word, right? It’s a verb, an action:
Rally: “To muster for a common purpose; to recall to order; to arouse for action; to rouse from depression or weakness; to come together again; to renew an effort; to join in a common cause.” — Merriam-Webster
First, I must acknowledge everyone who is already working. Thank you. Thank you for working the call centers, writing, putting up signs and bumper stickers, engaging with the media, talking to friends, bringing them to rallies, wearing buttons, and staying informed.
And to those of you who are doing nothing, or next to nothing, allow me to speak with truth and love: We can’t win without you. Unless you get to work, regular, reasonably easy work, you will have no one but yourself to blame if we are defeated. To quote Diamond and Silk, I love you but I can’t lie to you: If you sit on your butts, we lose.
Plus, we need everyone — the workers and the do-nothings — to recruit every Trump supporter you know to join us.
Yes, I know that everyday, “out-there” activism is just not the lifestyle of the right (okay, it is with some). Activism and community organizing are more leftist behaviors. It is in their DNA; it is their history.
So, talk to your wives, husbands, families and friends, look at how you’re spending your time, and start carving out time on your calendar each week — something, an hour, two hours, half a day — that will be dedicated to the most useful, results-oriented, pro-Trump campaigning. As you carve out these time slots, make a list of things you need to spend less time doing. Watching TV? Please, watch less. Evenings out for dinners and movies? You can get your social fix by campaigning in groups. Hobbies? Really? Our country needs you right now. It won’t kill you to put your hobbies in storage and take them out after November 8.
Don’t think this temporary lifestyle change will be easy. Not only will the work sometimes be boring, but when your emotions swing up and down with the tides of Trump’s polling numbers, you can expect real pain and heartache. You will need to find ways to deal with this and continue working. You will need friends to keep you pumped up, hopeful, and most of all, active — daily or weekly.
It will be easier if you work in twos and threes, or small groups. It will be easier if you join formal efforts where the work is organized for you. But whatever you do, do something every week, starting now. Don’t for a moment think that one person cannot make a difference. One person multiplied over and over can change the world. If the left has taught us anything, it has taught us that. So now you know. Do it.
The alternative is to do nothing, and wake up on Wednesday, November 9 to a victory by one of the most cunning career criminals in American history. She will nail shut the coffin Barack Obama has been building for America the past eight years, and the offenses against liberty you are reading about in the press will burst through a dam and overtake us all. If that happens, say ¡Adios! to America, liberty, and the right to follow your conscience without persecution.
And please, friends: I want to hear from you. I want to hear everything you have to say. Agreements, disagreements, ideas of your own, things that are working for you, things that aren’t. I have the same struggles. Please share this essay with others if you think it will help. Let’s put our heads together, reorganize our lives… and rally.

Volunteered for Cruz twice when I liked him. Never heard back.
in trump’s case, I got a response saying they were overloaded with people wanting to work in his building volunteering but they could use home callers.
I can’t force them to call me back.

I encourage you to call from home using his CallFire system.
First, it is exactly the same system as calling from Trump Tower. Same site, same script, you use your own phone (their system calls your phone, then keeps connecting to those on the list).
Second, you can make your own hours. Plus you don’t have to travel to TT and back.
You miss out on a few snacks and meeting people, but everyone is busy calling anyway. Truly, it is exactly the same, and your work is very valued.

I was SUPPOSED to go interview at Trump plaza but I got a response about overwhelming numbers responding and the hours to go were switched around so I gave up on Manhattan.
But I will definitely try to get through to them.
I don’t want to commute anymore anyway lol. 25 years was enough.
