Just like welfare redistribution, I’m sure any white advocate of this scheme intend to profit from it financially. Dave Chappelle had a great skit on reparations years ago; white news anchors were amazed at how quickly the blacks seemed to want to give the money back (buying gold teeth, paying overdue phone bills, and in one case, buying a truckload of menthol cigarettes).
The only way I would consider paying “reparations” is if they renounced their citizenship, and departed for “mother africa” and were forever prohibited from re-enry to the USA.
I suspect that the DNA/Ancestry-thing companies are bowing to Political Correctness when they report such things as "2% North African." Unless you have concrete evidence to believe that that is, in fact, correct (e.g., you know of family lore regarding a mysterious great-great-grandfather - nicknamed "Old Hazelnut" because of his unusually dark complexion - who had been adopted from a sea captain whose ship used to ply the waters of the Eastern Mediterranean, etc.), I would first assume that the DNA company is merely kowtowing to P.C.
In other words, instead of saying that you are 2% "Semitic" or "Jewish," they choose to formulate it such.
Part of the P.C. plan to claim that we are all "brothers under the skin."
