No problem. The entire GOP in Congress is EXEMPT.

EXEMPT. They promised but they lie.

No matter how you spin it....it will conclude within a ten-year period after delivery, into single-payer ‘medicare’ like insurance for all. The hospitals will degrade options and just offer plain A-B-C health care. The government won’t be able to order them to expand and provide premium-like care, and if you can find independent or private health insurance...it’ll be primarily for those who can afford $15,000 a year in premium coverage. Those with fancy diseases and high-cost health? You’d best prepare to relocate near facilities in urbanized areas of your state and get in line for appointments which may take six months to get.

Obama-care had only one single purpose....to get us to single-payer.

Trump has promised to get us to universal health care sooner. Until he didn’t. And then he did again. But of course he’s not Lyin’ Trump. He’s just flexible.

He probably hasn’t figured out what to do with it yet.

I’d rather have a president that has decided, and isn’t dancing back and forth with the idea of universal coverage.

Re: the headline...the same could be said for those insured by it.

Look around....Republican Congress....Republican Senate....do they want universal health care? No. Wonder why....because no lobbyists wants to support it?

That is about what it costs for a couple in their mid to upper 50's to buy a crappy unsubsidized bronze plan today.

“That is about what it costs for a couple in their mid to upper 50’s to buy a crappy unsubsidized bronze plan today. “

I have a choice. $19,000 a year for COBRA or $13,000 a year for the right to have a $13,700 deductible.

Dog food or cat food?

As someone who works in the ER, I can tell you that unless there’s some incentive for people to live a better lifestyle, Obamacare isn’t doing anyone much good.

And considering Obamacare has made it so insurance companies can’t charge people more for being in lousy health, I’m not holding my breath on anything changing.

That is about what our Cobra coverage costs for a couple. $24K if you need nation wide coverage for a couple. Healthy people aren't going to buy COBRA. I certainly wouldn't..

Whoever we get for president the Congress needs to legally lock in the insurers that fought for Obamacare into providing care at premiums that will bankrupt them .. I want to see them shrivel and die..

How to fix healthcare? We all know how.. get the government out of it except to provide a framework of standardized plan coverages so that all insurers can compete and be easily cross shopped and end mini-monopolies implemented via state borders.

They can now charge us for inaction and in a few years, they’ll be able to use our healthcare to control us.

I hope a good chunk of the people pushing this wake up one morning to find that they crossed the government at some point and won’t be taken care of when they need it the most.

Well, Trump believes that one of the top three functions of government is health care. The thing is, his universal plan will be “terrific”!
To think otherwise makes you both GOPe and a globalist or something. /s
