It appears to me Jesus was speaking to his followers that they ‘love one another’......and the entire atmosphere and event was centered around them....not those outside the flock.
I say this because that love shared among believers is only possible by His Spirit within us as we identify with and for one another.
The love we show those outside the faith is still love but exhibits itself quite differently then that shared among ourselves.
