And the Post probably cannot understand why mainstream journalism is on the way out. Hint: its not just because of the Internet
This was the headline the New York Post ran in Thursdays article about former Toronto mayor Rob Ford. Underneath the headline it prominently says By Fox News. But Fox used another headline that read, Doctors trying to determine next steps in ex-Toronto mayors cancer treatments.
During the latter part of his term as mayor that ended in October 2014, Ford became embroiled in scandal that made news around the world. It included drunken stupors in public and videos that purported showing him smoking crack cocaine and associating with unsavoury people.
Somebody call the whaaaambulance.
Lie down with dogs; get up with fleas.
“Associating with unsavoury people”? Other than other politicians?

Well, for a savoury non-politician, there was that British food critic, Giles Coren touring the US & Canada for a BBC food show. Ford treated him to the roach coach outside of his office, then declined to eat, saying he was watching his weight, iirc.
I don’t get it ... they’re mad about an accurate headline? I wouldn’t remember this guy without the crackhead reference... “crackhead mayor” is a small universe worthy of note ... Marion Barry and this dude.
