I read she was teaching grad school when she dreamed up the Native American story. I don't know what the truth about it is, but if she didn't get tuition breaks from it, it's not good to keep spreading a lie no matter who does it.

Evidently it's more about if she ever got "professional advantage" through her claim and, for awhile, being listed in the directory of one or a few schools as a minority.

She never “got into” Harvard, until she was hired a law professor. It is hard to see any qualities in her other than purported Cherokee blood and distaff plumbing that would have made Harvard take her seriously as a candidate. Her experience and training were all at second and third rate institutions.

I’ve never read that Elizabeth Warren ever taught graduate school. She doesn’t even have a master’s degree. She taught courses in a number of law schools.

At Harvard she claimed to be an Indian. She also practiced law in Massachusetts even though she was not a member of the bar.
