“Have you noticed that every single peace talk is predicated on the issue of territory? Like I said, the Palestine/Israel squabble is nothing if it is not about real estate.”

Squabble? Did the Nazi’s have a “squabble” with the Jews in Germany.

This conflict is about real estate in the same sense that the Nazi conflict was about real estate.

You miss the point. Being the greatest real estate developer that has ever lived will add NOTHING to a person’s ability to resolve a conflict in which a nation’s right to exist is being rejected by the other party.

Any attempt resolve such a conflict by treating it like a real estate deal will result in a dismal failure.

Your thinking is based on your politics. Denigrating Trump for being Trump is meaningless.
Land for peace has been a fruitless tradeoff for Israel. A Trump deal would likely offer the Palis their continued existence in exchange for supporting Israel’s authority.
It is precisely Trump’s negotiating skills that can end the stalemate in the ME.It all depends on the terms of the offer.
