I respect wolves as dangerous wildlife, but that is it.

You hear people say “Wolves have never attacked people”, but there is a valid reason wolves were hunted to extinction in many places, and it wasn’t because they didn’t attack people.

Anyone who thinks a long line of wolves that are hungry would pass up a human for a meal is crazy.

I knew someone who had one of those big dogs that looked like a cross between a tiger and a mastiff, and I didn’t trust that dog one bit whenever we visited. My wife sat as far away from it as possible.

Seemed like a dangerous animal to me.

Not saying they are bad dogs, but I have always been wary of dogs that are bigger than I am, and don’t act like pets, but just sit there an look at you. I think that is probably a prudent course of action.

Yep, a bolt gun is one handy item. The NY Rangers didn’t have them as standard issue at the time 35 years ago that this happened.

I happen to love elk. But don’t worry they are in a major decline since these wolves were introduced so you won’t see much elk anymore.

Actually these wolves kill for sport.

I have seen videos posted which follow the dead elk and deer from a wolf pack and none of the dead animals were eaten.

What is more these wolves carry a dangerous disease.
And people are getting it from wolf scat. So are the elk and deer.
