Trumpertantrum is on Twitter this morning lying about Ted Cruz again, this time on immigration. Apparently he saw Cruz’s interview last night on the BillO show where Cruz said he would follow the law and deport illegals. Trump is responding to that on Twitter by saying that Cruz is only talking tough on illegal immigration now because he lost South Carolina and then accuses him of being in favor of amnesty:
Everything Trump said there is patently false. Cruz’s position on illegal immigration has not changed and we have video to prove it.

In my view, if this committee rejects this amendment, and I think everyone here views it as quite likely this committee will choose to reject this amendment, in my view, that decision will make it much, much more likely that this entire bill will fail in the House of Representatives. I don’t want immigration reform to fail. I want immigration reform to pass. And so I would urge people of good faith on both sides of the aisle, if the objective is to pass common sense immigration reform that secures the borders, that improves legal immigration, and that allows those who are here illegally to come in out of the shadows. Then we should look for areas of bipartisan agreement and compromised to come together. And this amendment, I believe, if this amendment were to pass, the chances of this bill passing into law would increase dramatically.”

Cruz knew, and so has every one else, that the bill would fail if it didn’t give them the right to vote.
In the meantime, Trump was hiring over 1000 H1s for cheaper labor.

And he purposely avoided talking about what should be done with the “11 million” illegal aliens currently in America pretty much up until now when he says he will look for and deport them.
I don’t believe him frankly.

That’s a slippery answer.
If he didn’t want to talk about it before, why does he want to talk about it now?
Even if you’re 100% right (doubtful) it won’t help Cruz or hurt Trump.
But you miss the point. It don’t matter. You ask why feminists aren’t more against Clinton? For the same reasons Trump supporters overlook and circle the wagons. To them it doesn’t matter. Conservatives and liberals pretty much act the same. Protect your tribe. Destroy the perceived enemy.
Wake up America, day by day we are being changed before our eyes. Not according to our Constitution, which has brought us to be the greatest nation, doing good in the World.
We must not loss what made America great... and it is not socialism. Socialism does not work.

Nice try putting words in my mouth, but I didn’t say anything about Sessions. It’s possible Sessions believes Ted Cruz’s lies, but I don’t. Sorry.
Ted Cruz did not poison that bill, he was telling the truth in 2013, and came up with some revisionist history in 2015 to explain it all away and make himself seem like a hero.
The Gang of Eight Bill failed because Eric Cantor got primaried. Period.
Cruz has always been strong on policy. Cruz can’t fix his weakness, it’s his persona. Without a complete rapid remake of his public personality he’s done. In other words he’s done.
