I put cantilevered scope mounts on my AR the other day for a telescopic sight. I also have Magpul ‘iron sights’ and my poor old eyes have gotten so bad that I also put cantilever sights on the other side for a red dot sight.
Now I’m able to ‘tri-witness’ and with both eyes. It doesn’t really look too odd.
Anyone using a magnifier for your red dot?
Is it worth it? I’m looking at one that is 3X and swings out of the way and the price is right.
Quit wasting your money on optics and spend it on full auto. You don’t need 20-20 when you can spray a wall of lead.
I have not had to move to magnification yet. I started using EOTECH and was just stunned by how well my shot groups improved. My eyesight was getting really bad.
