I've posted a couple of times elsewhere that Ted's Elmer Gantry, hyper-Christian routine will not go over as well in the South as in Iowa. Southerners can spot religious hypocrisy or overkill a mile away and they don't like it.
That routine will hurt more than help him among southern evangelicals.
I suppose that Cruz knows:
“be sure your sin will find you out.” Num. 32:23
and
“God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” Gal. 6:7
I figure that the more he lies, the lower his percentages will go.
