Knowing Carson, I’d guess the first thing he did was run to CNN and try to find a way to fabricate a scenario which makes Cruz and conservatives look bad. CNN also gets to sabotage Trump (who really should not have fallen for the trap in believing that Carson was an ally), all so Rube-o can take the nomination easier.

After Rube-o’s embarrassing performance in the last debate, expect the attacks on Cruz and Trump to be exponentially greater over the next few days.

That whole business at the beginning of the debates with Carson standing in the wings during introductions was supposed to be some cute trick to embarrass Cruz as well. Didn't work out so well.

Carson really had me fooled.
