Carson Adviser Armstrong Williams, Not Cruz Campaign, Announced Possible Suspension of Campaign
The conservative Historian ^ | February 2, 2016 | Jonathan Henderson

Carson’s team has yet to produce corroborating emails to prove their allegations. It still remains possible, given that reports just past midnight might suggest Carson may well drop out.

Speculation abounded Monday night that GOP presidential hopeful Ben Carson might drop out of the race, after news broke that Carson was not sticking around in Iowa to wait out caucus results, nor heading directly to New Hampshire or South Carolina for the next primaries on the calendar.

The Carson campaign, now involved in another PR nightmare, had to dispel the rumors later today by blaming everyone but what the doctor ordered. His own supporters even complain about the campaign’s poor organization. And the cure to the political clap for Dr. Carson’s doomed campaign should have been to amputate Mr. Williams Armstrong Williams from staff long ago. The death knell Williams dealt Dr. Carson’s campaign occurred on January 22.

re: You did nothing to alleviate the critique. How do you know Carson didn’t do well enough for 14 percent, or 13 percent?

Same question can be asked of you, how do you know that he did?

My answer is this -— I do not believe that Iowa voters are DUMB enough to base their vote on a tweet from an opposing candidate.

There might be a few, but not enough to significantly change the 9% he got.

Bizarre retort.

People are dumber than you think, and it wasn't from a "tweet," it was Cruz staff present at the caucus sites. Just 4 people per caucus needed to be convinced to give Cruz his lead.

RE: Bizarre retort.

Not bizzare at all. I’d like you to produce evidence of this 13 to 14% vote that he could have gotten. Did you count all votes that could have been but did not happen? If so, this would be prima facie evidence for a recount.

You will be on to something. I suggest that if you are a Carson supporter, you and Carson’s staffers work together to gather enough of these “dumb” people (if it is 4 per precinct, surely finding only 50 of them would be enough ) to show the Republican party that this caucus was tainted by Cruz staffers.

BTW, where were Carson staffers to counter these Cruz staffers? If these lies were being spread by these staffers, Carson supporters should be there to tell Carson voters not to believe them.

Also, we should be gathering the names of these Cruz staffers spreading these lies in the sites and PUBLICLY inform Cruz who these people are and challenge him to fire them.

Do this and maybe I’ll believe you but not until.

It's bizarre because you're asking me to prove something you know cannot be proved, because you cannot prove the opposite. Your own impulse here proves my point: that you cannot assert how much or how little Carson was hurt by Cruz's dirty tricks.

BTW, where were Carson staffers to counter these Cruz staffers?

Carson even claims that Cruz staffers interfered with Carson staffers, trying to impede them from speaking.

RE: It’s bizarre because you’re asking me to prove something you know cannot be proved, because you cannot prove the opposite.

Therefore, as I said before, everything is speculation unless you can provide positive evidence. How are we going to resolve this other than this?

I have given you a way of showing that you are correct. You said it only takes 4 per site to add to the Carson’s 9%. Well, let’s get the names of a few of these people who changed their mind because of this rumor.

As for dirty tricks, again, it should be easy to get the name of the Cruz staffer who lied about Carson quitting. Let’s get this person so that he can be fired.

You are the one who claim that these people exist, it should not be hard to find one or two.

GET THEIR NAMES. I’LL HELP YOU POST IT.
