Rubio did do a lot better than expected. It was a Lazarus-like performance involving a surge from the low teens to the low 20’s. I have to hand it to him - he’s a cannier campaigner than everyone thought he was. While he did benefit from some withdrawals - Kasich, Christie and Bush also had a shot at those votes, yet fell on their faces.

Cruz’s biggest opponent is Rubio, bar none. Trump needs to call it a night and go back to managing his strip clubs and paying off local politicians to issue eminent domains. That guy has no business running as a conservative.

Why not? He's got Karl Rove and every turd-blossoming "consultant" in the e-GOP working for him on the sly...... Think all that faaaaabulous talent can't manage a 10-point bumpette out in Boondockville?

Just think of all the vig, the mojo, the inevitability they can begin to generate now with their e-GOP MSM bullsqueeze generators.

It'll be a bull market in Rubio Astroturf excitement and shizzle-sizzle .... at least until South Carolina.
