It's no longer a question of IF Bernie is going to win Iowa; it's just about the size of the margin, and if it can provide the knock-out blow.

Consider that Friday's Iowa poll showed Hillary with a 3 pt lead, but still well within the MOE. IOW, it tells us nothing. Polling done since then..likely of questionable value, suggests that Sanders now has a 4 pt lead.

A year ago, Clinton had a 50 pt lead over Sanders....... let's put it this way, the trend ain't her friend...

In most of the smaller Democrat caucuses throughout the state, O'Malley will not get enough support to remain viable. When his supporters (some 3%) are released, it's likely that 90% of them go to Bernie.

So, Bernie wins Iowa easily, and it says here that when the final numbers come down, it's a double digit win for Sanders.

And Hillary then heads for New Hampshire, where she's looking at a 30-40% shellacking next week.

NO way she comes back from that. Iowa could drive a stake through her heart tonight.

A stake through the heart is one of the few things that can kill a vampire.

If Iowa shows that Hillary is dead politically then she is gonna go to jail, her literal freedom is hinged on Iowa...

If she does crappy in Iowa there is no way in Arkansas Hell she is gonna do anything but disastrous in New Hampshire

Iowa is full of Communists...errr Socialists. Bought and paid for with farm subsidies and ethanol.

I grew up there and don’t recognize it anymore.

Not fatal, but it would be a serious blow. But it looks like Bernie’s ahead significantly in NH. The two losses together and it’s starting to look real bad for her. But she’ll stick until Super Tuesday and she’ll fight like a proud-cut wildcat.

It ain’t over till the fat lady is wearing an orange jumpsuit.

I suspect if she gets trounced tonight, the indictments will be rapidly forthcoming.

It won't knock her out tonight, but then after Bern schlonging her in New Hampshire, it will sure as heck burn up her firewall in the Southern states.

But Clintons always turn up roses - Once she drops out of the race, that allows Trump to choose her as his running mate.

And she is back to one heartbeat away from the White House.

Both Iowa and NH could very well end up being Hillary’s “Waterloo”.

I don’t think Sanders can compete in the South, we’ll see.

I do think if Trump pulls an upset and wins in Iowa it’s lights out for the rest of the GOP field.

Hellry calls herself a “progressive” when she’s a true, leftwing communist.

BS Bernie comes out and honestly dscribes himself as a socialist/communist.

Leftist voters always go with the real deal and will always choose the “honest communist”.

as much as I would love to see Hillary trounced tonight, I must point out that Obama operatives cheated their asses off in Iowa in 2008 to help O pull the upset. Remember, Democrat caucus rules are different than GOP rules - leaving the results more susceptible to being gamed. I’m sure Hillary learned something from that episode.

Finishing 2nd would be a step up, right?

In 2008 she finished behind Caliph Baraq AND Rielle Hunter’s baby daddy.

While it is a huge gamble for the United States...a contest between Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders or Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders would be great.
Republicans tend to be more committed voters, while Democrats will stay home if it is raining or there is a good show on television at the time.
If my theory is wrong, it will be a really tough four years with Bernie running the show. I am pretty sure there are sufficient number of Republicans who would make it to the polls.

Bernie has no chance of winning the nomination. Hillary has essentially all of the superdelegates sewn up. The way the Dem primary is set up, the Party has a process to make sure that something like a Bernie Sanders primary win is impossible by using superdelegates. It's extremely undemocratic.

How many congresspeople have endorsed Bernie? Two?

Would love to see the entitled one get exactly what she deserves. Would love to see her humiliated, knowing full well, the dizzy dems would have to vote against her in numbers to overcome the cheating.
