Two thoughts:
I usually carry A, but for serious social situations, I carry B.
How the hell do you know when a 'serious social situation' will occur?

I've always read that a S&W .22 revolver was the perfect 'Tackle Box Gun'. I'd love to have one, but I'd still carry a Glock.
