You are talking about a total of about $1 million, which is pocket change for Trump, and is a fairly minor amount to the political establishment. It ensures that politicians will call Trump back if he has an issue he wants to talk to one about, but that’s about it.

This brings up an interesting and revealing point. Due to corruption in government, Trump had to pay to play. Now that he wants a place in the government power structure, the people that he supported are not only not supporting him, but throwing every obstacle in his way. After all these years, after all that money spent. Why? Because they know he knows the game and their corruption and chooses to expose it.
