Whether or not Planned Parenthood and the mainstream media ignore them, there will ALWAYS be busloads of students ready to head to March for Life protests, even when getting back home means getting through the generationâs worst blizzard.
Miracle searchers donât have to delve into the long ago past searching for miracles from Above. They only have to go back to Sunday past when a âMiracle in the Snowâ proved that not even the worst blizzard of a generation can blow out the candle of faith.
With high winds driving 30 and more inches of snow, Winter Storm âJonahâ blew out the power for millions. It caused Mayor Bill de Blassio to order New Yorkers to shelter inside their homes and brought the nationâs capitol to a standstill.
During the stormâs worst, some 500 students, praying Mass on an altar constructed of snow on the side of a Pennsylvania highway, uttered the most profound words of them all: âMy Lord and my Godâ when the Holy Eucharist was raised during Consecration by Fr. Patrick Behm, parochial vicar of All Saintsâ Parish in Le Mars, Iowa. and the chaplain of Gehlen Catholic High School in Le Mars.
Everyone of those fine young people interviewed came across as cheerful, upbeat and sane even after 15 hours or more on the bus or in a local school gymnasium on cots provided by the Red Cross.
Quite a contrast to the president and his minions the Friday before boasting about the 43rd anniversary of the supreme court's decision to make it a constitutional right to butcher the unborn. They came across as angry and petulant even though they own the presidency, own the supreme court, own the media and own enough of congress that even the opponents in that body are reduced to mere token opposition.
