If you do a simple search of the internet there is page after page of this false reporting on Trump. All of the stories and videos show-one line, taking it all out of context. The media tried like hell to do a "gotcha."
Trump was quoting what someone else said about his supporters being so loyal, that he could shoot someone on the street and they would still support him. It was lighthearted not serious

This is a common way they attack Trump. They take snippets and leave out content to make it appear he said something that he didn’t say.
Every time I see one of these breathless “Trump said this or thats” I sit back and wait until the truth of what he said comes out.
The time for a physical wall is overdue.
Yet, the real problem is the physically present ILLEGALS.
Screw the border, round up the illegals present NOW!
Deny all federal, or state benefits to these thieves.
The people who have stolen Our Country, need to be jailed and stripped of any assets accrued while representing themselves as US political officers of Federal, State or Local government.

Listen to the video again. Trump clearly begins the sentence with, “They say, the polls say ...” He is making his point about the loyalty in his movement using hyperbole, in a humorous way. The media are dishonest.

I heard that speech live, and that one quick line didn ‘t even impress me to remember it.
However, someone on my Facebook page ran with it and added vicious lies and wouldn’t back down even when I confronted her.
Trump’s supporters were called insane and other nasty words, and I set her straight.
I wasn’t expecting this and it has left me shaken.
She was only on my FB page because I knew her parents.
I truly hope they deal with her.....she’s not a kid.
I am still upset.......She was so vicious.
There was a time when the Dean of Students at Dordt College would refer to someone attending a public university as a heathen. That’s a true story. Back in the day, many in the Christian Reformed Church thought that salvation was only for the. To be fair, I don’t think there are many ofthose people still runnning the CRC.
