Fedgov knew too and did nothing. Lowest head on the totem pole rolls.

This is RIDICULOUS BS ... all of it. Tell me exactly what went wrong TECHNICALLY? Huh? Nobody can! It isn’t written anywhere. Only that “The EPA did it” or “The Mayor did it” or “Elvis did it.” .... WHAT WAS THE TECHNICAL PROBLEM?????? Nobody will discuss it. Was it reversed flow causing laminar turburculation to sluff off? (Which can happen with a new water source introduced in a different part of the system). Is there a bigger problem in the Flint River? Once you figure out what the PROBLEM is (and not the damned POLITICS!), then you can start to look for culprits. This is a media SHAM ... no .. its a SHAM media!

Snyder is being set up to take the fall for a city that made a bad decision and an EPA that was itself slow to act.

His emergency manager set up the city council with a proposal to create their own water authority so they could get cheaper water than going through Detroit. Apparently while doing such, someone made the decision to take water from the Flint River rather than continue the contract with Detroit till the new water authority was instituted.

The river water had high levels of contamination that stripped the scale from decades old piping that caused lead and sediment to leach into the water.

The news media ignored the story till Snyder got involved.

My understanding is they didn’t treat the water properly which caused the old pipes to leech lead into the supply.

All of these unconstitutional alphabet agencies need to go...like, yesterday. I’ve been following the Oregon standoff very closely. The locals there say it is common knowledge that the National Wildlife & Fisheries people dump Purex into the creeks so the fish counts will be lowand they can get their funding. It’s the same reason the BLM are known as “firelighters” instead of firefighters.

Did Flint have a water treatment plant????

I don't know, but the testing of the water every day would seem to be S.O.P. Thanks, Hojczyk.

Don’t forget to add the mine disasters to the EPA’s resume.

How do they know children's lead levels doubled during the year...unless they had the childrens blood levels before they started....which I'm sure they did not. (I'll revise if I'm wrong.)

And what are the range of those levels.

We had lead water pipes. My mother lived to 90. My dad to 80. They both lived in that house for 50 and 40 years respectively.

Really like your homepage. What caught my eye was your proposed cabinet. I’ve been thinking for quite some time if one of our candidates was to proclaim who he would have on his team, he might attract the majority of consevative voters (who seem quite divided presently). John Bolton is a lock for State. For Education, I thought Thomas Sowell, with the understanding that the department would be phased out at the end of four years. We both seem to like Allen West but I like him as Sec-Def. The worst crime against our nation is what is being done to the military.

I’ve lived in Michigan for quite a long time. Love the state but our people in Lansing leave a great deal to be desired.

Thanks. I really like your idea about Thomas Sowell. He would be a person who would not get the big head and work to keep the Dept of Ed going on forever and ever. Common Core would become the horror and watch word it deserves to be.

My home page is my baby and I have been nursing it since the Clinton impeachment when I was paying attention to all the crimes the Clinton's were committing in broad daylight with no one slapping charges on them, other than impeachment which Slick wiggled out of.

I spent the first 21 years of my life in Flint. Believe me it was a great little town. Both General Motors and Buick were born there. And then the 60s race riots took place in Detroit and from that point on Flint got the demoncrap leeches latching on to it who considered Flint their personal fiefdom.

The way Snyder quickly released all the emails which I have heard show clearly the EPA’s failure must be why this person resigned. I think the emails will show the classic failure of local liberal politicians and appointees.
