For Cruz New York “values,” San Francisco “values” and “Swanson values” are Negotiable

We’ve heard Ted Cruz detests “New York values.” What we’re not hearing about is his hypocritical “situational” approval of these values and the “values” of a similar location: San Francisco. Nor have we heard about the Senator’s refusal to stand up and defend his New York and San Francisco “values” donors whose lives are threatened by the “values” of Pastor Kevin Swanson one of his convenient Iowa supporters.

In 2009 when Cruz first decided to run for public office, he received a donation of $251,000 from Peter Thiel a San Francisco billionaire whose “values” include supporting gay marriage. Cruz wanted to run for Texas Attorney General but eventually ended his campaign.

So a billionaire from California, who just happens to be gay and supports gay marriage, decides to give the unknown Cruz what turned out to be 20% of his campaign war chest with no promises about gay marriage? There is no indication that Cruz returned the “San Francisco values” money to Thiel.

Last April Cruz sat in the home of a prominent “New York values” gay marriage supporting couple and received the minimum $2,700 allowed by law from each man. Since that would barely cover Cruz’s travel expenses it raises the question of how many other gay activists...

So because Cruz has accepted donations from someone who supports SSM, that must mean Cruz supports SSM? You get an "F" in Logic! Just because someone donates money does not mean you are in agreement on everything - it just means they agree with you on enough to make them want to support you.

What is rich is that Trump supporters are beating this dead horse, trying to imply that somehow Cruz will be soft on SSM because some homosexual supporters donated to his campaign. But they have no problem with Trump who has openly supported "gay rights" and has publicly said that Christians who oppose SSM should be required to participate or lose their jobs because SSM is "the law of the land."

Some people just don’t get it. Cruz only repeated the Donald’s own statements. And not statement from 16 years ago. Trump has often repeated the same remarks of his New York values to dozens of people in the last few years.

I guess just because Trump is funding his own campaign, Cruz and the others are supposed to refuse donations from people regardless of their motives for helping him.

Still waiting for Coach to share his great wisdom as to why Trump has been in bed with George Soros and other anti-Christian anti-American communists.

Or how Trump only survived bankruptcy because he owed too much money for the Banks to kick him to the gutter. Millions of honest hard working Americans wish they could squander millions and still get a bailout from the banks.

Trump’s art of the deal and his great comeback is nothing more than owing too much money to fail. The banks did for him What Obama and George Bush did for the Banks, Wall Street, and GM.

Art of the deal indeed. Amazing how he has been allowed to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes. Notice how the MSM and the establishment has not yet attacked him on this? It’s because if they are stuck with someone they dislike, they would much rather it be Trump than Cruz.

I’ll take Cruz over trump any day.

Well, since Cruz has fought *for* traditional marriage and *against* the gay lobby’s SSM agenda — how does that square with the implication that he’s “bought and paid for” by the gay lobby? Have they asked for their money back? If not, then perhaps... just perhaps... the donation wasn’t intended as the author suggests in the article.

And are we sure we want to play the “guilt by association” game with all the candidates? How about their PACs? Do mob donations indicate RICO organization endorsement and/or tacit approval of RICO activities?
