In the early 1980’s the joke around San Francisco was that Pitchers were never catchers although catchers could be pitchers.

Guys who do not identify themselves as gay are always pitchers. In the gay world, Muslims are easy pickups and always pitchers. I had a bunch of gay fraternity brothers.

To make it even more confusing, catchers don’t have to be gay but pitchers do. You don’t have to be aroused to catch but you do have to be aroused to pitch. If a guy gets aroused at the thought of sex with a man, he’s gay.
