Bravo. The media found themselves a white hispanic scapegoat.
FBI treated his property as a terrorist dwelling, meanwhile they were extremely gentle with the muslim's home.
Maybe they needed him to keep the lawn under control.
Oh, that’s true. When I was a volunteer for Veteran’s Bedside Network, we did go into locked wards. Nice men, generally in for drug addiction.
It's all a matter of taste, but I think Chris hit the partner jackpot.
If the two shooters bought their handguns legally in Kalifornia, surviving the waiting period and background check, why did they need to buy a neighbor’s rifles and bypass a back ground check, EVEN THOUGH A BACKGROUND CHECK WAS REQUIRED for a legal purchase from the neighbor?
Anyone heard anything about the parents or family of the moslem student jihadi who was shot dead in Merced? It is like a news blackout has descended on the story!
wonder what else is being covered up?
Well, it took them three days to get there! Evidence was already gone!
Maybe they got a good price.
Maybe he was scared to being called a racist if he didn’t sell them his guns. he was just being neighborly
the neighborly nut.
Looks like he tried to back out of garage with the door down.
So straw purchasing weapons used in felonies is no longer illegal!
I live in CA and I sold a Remington Shotgun to a Coworker.
Had to go through an FFL so I wouldn’t become an overnight Felon. Cost him $25 or $50 as I recall.
I guess if the guy decides to take out somebody with that Shotgun, my Home will be destroyed by the Authorities.
God Bless America.
They didn’t want evidence, they wanted to create certain “optics” about private sales. Nothing creates “optics” like a violent raid on a residence at 3AM.
Private Firearm Sales are Illegal in CA.
You have to go through an FFL and the Buyer has to wait 10 days (if I remember correctly) to get the Firearm.
In California, private sales HAVE to go through a FFL dealer. There HAS to be a NICS check - period.
No way the purchase/sales to the Farooks were legal. Absolutely zero chance.
Self protection probably but not from the FBI necessarily.
He can stay almost indefinitely since he checked himself in and I think it is to isolate him from retaliation to shut him up. Farooq’s and his wife's co-conpirators are still out there albeit they are quiet for now. This situation is still fluid and there are more cell members on the loose and the FBI wants them. If the FBI picked him up directly they would have to charge or release him unless they have a solid evidence that he knew what those rifles were to be used for.
Just selling those rifles without an FFL dealer and NICS check would be enough to get him locked up in Commiefornia.
