NICE!
What is that?
—didn’t see them in Wisconsin because “uncased gun” in a vehicle was a pretty serious game law violation-—
I used to have a boat gun...
Kel-Tec SU16. supports standard AR-15 mags (although anything larger than 30 rounds and you have to pull the mag to extend the stock). Shoots with the stock folded. Eminently maneuverable in the cab of the truck. Surprisingly accurate for a “plastic” gun.
Thanks. I’ll have to look it up.
Ruger 10-22 Stainless Take Down with a Nikon Rimfire scope.
Great little rifle.

Let me guess, you lost it in a terrible boating accident...........
It is amazing how often that happens.
We had a shooting locally here and the perp used one. He rolled up on his victim and let fly. I hadn’t ever seen one before but was looking for a truck gun.
I went to a Salvation Army thrift store and found a beat up tennis racket and case. I threw the racket away and use the case for my rifle ;’)

Actually, I had to give it up, there wasn’t any place
to apply for a concealed boat licence.
When we had a boat MD always found a place to conceal his guns. Pirates don’t ya know, got to be armed!
Here in Ga. if you have a fishing licence you are permitted
to carry while fishing. Snakes etc.
Pretty cool.
Got a Marlin Camp .45 that is like new was going to use for that, nice companion for the 1911 in the console. The Marlin has only had a couple of boxes thru it and has now gotten too valuable for a truck gun.
Nope, I have a car gun, don’t have a truck.
The only one I leave in the truck is an old Glenfield .22 auto.
“I the chapter I just read, the main character - a suburban homeowner, living in the fictitious New York suburb of Bullet Park - sees a large turtle lumbering across his back yard, gets a shotgun, and goes out and blasts it with multiple shots.”
Funny you should mention it. A giant snapping turtle got lost from the lake behind our S/D when I was a kid and actually rammed itself under our chain link fence trying to get to the sprinkler.
I ran inside and told my Dad and visiting Uncle. They picked up their handguns and just walked out in the backyard and started blasting it. My Dad had a .38 detective special but my Uncle had a .44 magnum with a 12 oz hairtrigger. The neighbors never even came outside to see what was happening. The good old days and how I miss them. :-)
hiding the nuke tips I see..lol
yea bear ate mine years ago..lol
Similar in NH. Loaded long guns are forbidden bc the animal cops think you’re going to poach game. Silly but true. Wished the law would change but the fish & game dept likes to throw their weight around so they remain relavant. Theyre a solution looking for a problem.
