I live in NYC...and loved my Jewish friends.
BTW, if you are on the West Side around noon, go to Fine and Shapiro's Deli. Best deli in Manhattan.
My favorite was a pastrami on rye with Russian dressing.
They pile it high...and the waitress always called me "honey."
