Apologists for Islam claim that Islamic terrorism is the work of a few religious fanatics. In truth, devout Muslims believe they have a duty to expand the rule of Islam. They justify abuse of "infidels" and "idolaters" and under the right circumstance, any one of them can be turned to violence. The most prominent leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, admitted that the "killing of apostates is essential for Islam to survive." He simply is reiterating what is said in the Quran.

"If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him." Quran 3:85

Quran 9:30 states that Christians and Jews are perverse. Allah himself fights against them.

It is time to face reality. The West is facing a momentous clash of civilizations, a potentially catastrophic confrontation of opposing worldviews. Islamic extremists are applying the teachings of the Quran and they are following the pattern of Mohammad's Arabian conquests. They seek world domination through violent intimidation, infiltration, subversion of national governments, and the imposition of Sharia. Jihadists are imperialists and their vision of global conquest poses a threat to all mankind.

'Blessed statement in Islam'

Gabriel emphasized the importance of the Shahada in the profession of faith in Islam.

"Muslims recite the Shahada when they wake up in the morning and before they go to sleep at night," he said. "It is repeated five times every day in the call to prayer in every mosque. A single honest recitation of the Shahada in Arabic is all that is required for a person to convert to Islam."

Gabriel believes it would be impossible for Obama not to be aware of what is written on the ring, calling it a "blessed statement in Islam."

"By wearing this religious statement on one’s hand, it connects the person to Islam,” he said. “It is worn in hopes that Allah’s protections would be with the person, in hopes of gaining favor with Allah."
