Fair enough, my hyperbole contribution to the nonsense.
The original poster referenced it to Muslims, terrorists and evil dictators.
My point, weak as it is, it is not indication of the above. And it is a common speaking gesture by public speakers on all walks of life.
To claim it is a sign of “evil” or other “bad” attitude is just silly.

So I watched this video and then went to American Thinker (hardly a loony website) that had an interesting take on Obama’s gesture when meeting with African leaders. Some call it a Muslim gang gesture and that Obama made that gesture as someone said that God is Great. So what’s going on?

When Muslims do it, they usually hold it near their face or head.
