Eisenhower federalized the National Guard in Little Rock in 1957 in the name of civil rights.
Kennedy did the same in 1963 in Alabama when George Wallace stood defiantly in the schoolhouse door.
In either case there was no armed insurrection against Federal authority.

Yes, I remember. I agree about his fear of guns in the hands of citizens. Certainly it is his number one objective to destroy the 2nd A. I don’t see why we can’t impeach him NOW. He has gone too far when he risks the safety of our citizens, DELIBERATELY! AND then professes no interest in America leading or winning. Impeachable offenses in my opinion.
