If this 2016 presidential run doesnât pan out for Bernie Sanders, the Democratic senator from Vermont might want to see about replacing the snoo as Redditâs corporate mascot....

Interesting.
I guessed right! Average reddit user age goes anywhere from 18 to 35. My sons fall in there. Cruz didn’t hit their radar until crazy CNBC debate. Now they pay attention to him.
I’m not even sure what Reddit is...I don’t know anyone who uses it and I’m in the Millenial range.
Sanders owns Reddit. They openly state that they don’t care for Hillary.
There is a sizable Trump contingent there. I really don’t see anyone else mentioned in passing.
Don’t feel too bad. I’m at the end of Gen X and I don’t care for all of that stuff either, Reddit, twitter, Facebook etc. I’m just happy going to Free Republic for my news.
It’s the reason why we have “net neutrality”. The leftist users of the site actively lobbied the FCC. Obama thank them personally for pushing it.
But outside of that, its a great website. Lots of boards having to do with every subject known to man.
Freepers should be a bigger presence there. It would alter a lot of the lefty hive mind that exists there.
You look at the graph and there’s this big area of green for Trump and this tiny strip of brown for Cruz. But Cruz’s strip sits higher on the graph than Trump’s big green zone. So what matters more, total area or the height of the area? If it’s height — which seems to be the case — then Cruz is more popular than Trump with the Redditors (assuming mentions are generally positive).
Not surprising that Sanders gets more mentions by Redditors than Hillary by far, and that he gets more mentions than any of the republicans. Reddit tends to be politically leftwingy as you would unfortunately expect from the 18 - 35 cohort.
I’ve got a friend at work, early thirties, who is Christian and conservative by instinct but who is very confused about politics, in part because he’s influenced by Reddit.
I pretty much only use Facebook and Tumblr for social media. I like the presence on this website. It’s nice to know that some people still have common sense and logic.
Reddit is exceedingly juvenile.
