The news came overseas from Britain about 11:30 p.m., last night: Ding dong, the witch is dead, decapitation video crazed Jihadi John’s now allegedly a goner.
According to Britain’s Daily Mail: “The world’s most wanted man, Jihadi John, is believed to have been killed in a U.S. drone strike in Syria.†(Daily Mail, Nov. 13, 2015)
“Believed to have been killed†is not nearly as reassuring or as absolute as the term, “was killedâ€.
He would still be alive today, if Russia hadn’t gotten involved in the war.
He was buried at sea in accordance with Muslim tradition.
I just saw him hanging out with Elvis and Jim Morrison.
Oh, and Jimmy Hoffa was there, too.
