Probably too many debates and too close together.
Trump doesn’t need to “win” a debate, he just needs to show up and be himself. If he does that, he holds his lead.
The winners would be the ones who reached out and made an impression. That would be Cruz, Fiorina, Rubio, and Paul. Of those, Cruz and Fiorina made the biggest gain, in my view.
I think people are starting to pay attention to Cruz. Until now, non-political people have not paid him any mind. I think that is changing.
If you're talking about the fourth debate, though, I can't help you.
Many satellite and cable packages do not carry Fox Business, which made FBN a curious choice as a venue.. Out of 4 consumers in our family circle, we were the only ones who have that channel. It was surprising that 13.5 million even found the debate.
-1 Fourth, not Forth.
I’m guessing that after three shams of a debate, people decided it wasn’t worth their time to watch. They just weren’t learning anything about the candidates to help them make an informed decision. Too bad, because this fourth debate was actually far more informative than the previous three.
Many satellite and cable packages do not carry Fox Business...
Exactly! It was their best viewership number in their history, and not available to many households...
It’s no surprise, and yes I believe most minds are made up.
One thing is certain, if Kassich and Fiorina are still in next debate, fewer still will tune in.
I thought it was a reference to the Firth of Forth.
Or are they just going back and forth?
I didn’t watch any of them.
After they are over, I read what Freepers have to say about them.
Much easier on the old ticker that way—LOL!
Not as many came forth for the fourth debate.
Bingo! FBN is available to over 11 million fewer households than CNBC. And it was a record for them.
Or people fed up with the media.
The debates are just entertainment shows in reality.
Maybe the absolute zoo that the third debate became turned people off? Of all the debates I think only this last one was any good.
Yeah, I didn’t know if we had Fox Business, and I probably won’t turn on that channel again. I don’t even watch Fox News. I think that was why viewership was low.
I think they are being ruined by too many candidates that have no chance of winning too.
Many of these people need to get out and get a life.
Kasich and Carly need to go. So does the kiddie table kids.
I turned it off for a couple of reasons. It was boring and I probably wouldn’t have learned anything new about the candidates anyway. I already know ‘who’ they are.
THAT fact can make a significant difference. Access is crucial to viewing for those who prefer TV.
