The president of the University of Missouri, Tim Wolfe, had to go. He had to go because he benefitted from "white privilege." That, at least, was the victorious argument of the intellectual heavyweights of Concerned Student 1950, who insisted that Wolfe acknowledge his "white privilege" before leaving office in a handwritten - not typed, dammit! - letter.
This raises some rather obvious questions, like: What is "white privilege"? Why is it that Tim Wolfe's "white privilege" mattered while that of Missouri football coach Gary Pinkel (salary: $3.1 million for helping men in pads hit each other) and Assistant Professor Melissa Click (gets paid to study Lady Gaga and 50 Shades of Grey) does not? Why is it that "white privilege" only manifests when the left wants it to manifest? Why do low-IQ dolts make up terms that only apply in Cloud Cuckoo Land, but that we all have to pretend to care about? Was Western civilization truly built brick by brick so that those same low-IQ dolts could mewl about their feelings?
You know, the simple questions.
But let's just start with that first question. What is "white privilege"?

Well, I don’t know about you guys, but up here in Canada it seems to me that having white skin (unless you’re a lesbian or disabled) gets you OFF the list for government jobs or anywhere else that political correctness reigns.
Walk through our hospitals and you wonder what country you’re in.
Asians....
they don’t have so called white privilege. they thrive here.
Indians and Middle easterners (yeah the muslims too)
they don’t have white privilege but they thrive here.
the problem with the sub Saharan types here in America is their defective societal structure. Until they decide it is time to live in a civilized society they are doomed.
This is not:
Affirmative action, cheap housing projects, being paid to reproduce even though you have absolutely no means to support a kid, having a better chance at being accepted at an Ivy league college if you’re black, yelling gibberish over other peoples records and being called a musician, the ability to be elected to the nations highest office on race alone despite having no qualifications for it whatsoever, being reelected as Mayor of the nations capital after you are caught smoking crack, yes, tell me again about white privilege.
Of course it has nothing to do with skin color, it has everything to do with culture.
A black conservative isn’t really “black.”
Sounds like a pretty good proposal for Allowing WHITE PEOPLE with White Privilege to be immediately IMMUNE from any and all Taxes that promote racism. This includes ALL SCHOOLS according to their logic. I WANT MY MONEY BACK so as not to exert my White Privilege on all you whiney little brats.
It has everything to do with power politics.
White Priv is a TACTIC used to win political battles by removing the legitimacy of the other side to even have an opposing view, and therefore the ability of the other side to express and defend it.
Hence, apparently, all the talk about nuance... /sarc
Blacks and other minorities are legally protected classes. Whites aren’t so privileged. It’s only what whites have built and managed to hold onto despite these legal protections that affords whites a very small amount of physical and economic security.
There certain character traits that will lead you to a relatively more successful and more fulfilled life.
If you integrate those character traits into your life, your life will show the fruit of that. If you don’t, your life will bear the scars of that lack.
Dangerous neighborhoods are dangerous, not because of the skin color of the inhabitants, but because there is a shortage of Christians in the neighborhood. Not enough Christians per square mile. Because too many of the families are shattered, because too many people there are slaves to substance abuse. The most common markers to a dangerous neighborhood are broken families and substance abuse, and those two too often go together.
A poor neighborhood where most people are Christians, most families have a dad, most families are not on drugs, is a neighborhood where you can walk down the street at night in perfect safety. Its not a function of money or the lack thereof, its not a function of privilege or its lack, it is a moral thing.
White Privilege is a term made up so certain people will have an excuse for their own failures due to their own actions.
The Brits called it "the white man's burden."

A term invented by the left to create division. The only people that I see that might be able to claim “white privilege” are white lefties like Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and George Clooney. I sure don’t have it. I’m poorer than any affirmative action hire in now and can’t get benefits based solely on my skin color. If you’re white go to a Department of Health andf Human Services Commission office and try to apply for benefits, have fun being given little or no benefits after your interview with your black or Hispanic case worker as you watch Hispanics pour into the office with 4 or 5 kids receive every benefit available in the chairs next to you. Mind you I was doing quite well before the Muslim king ascended the throne so I’m not whining just stating the facts.
