Back then, non-expanding bullets got a lot of deer. Like the bullets on a 1958 Cadillac. Notice the wide front notch sight.

1957 Buicks even had non-expanding hollowpoints and a shrouded front sight.

Both of those cars are beauties, especially the Caddy.

I didn't have the luxury of a bullet-nosed car. I got a deer with a 1982 Chevy Malibu Classic police package. More like using a club than a rifle. Dinged the car up a little, dinged the deer up a lot.
