Finally, the GOP presidential candidates are starting to realize that the RNC has no problem with liberal moderators
After the latest debate debacle, Republican presidential candidates have finally had enough. They are meeting this weekend without officials of the Republican National Committee (RNC) to discuss the format of upcoming presidential debates.
The final straw was Wednesday nightâs CNBC Republican debate. While it was a ratings success, drawing a network record 14 million viewers, it was a political disaster. The three liberal moderators exposed their bias and utter disdain for the candidates. The questions were unfair, trivial and not germane to the supposed topic of the evening, the economy.
Rinse? A boob? Say it ain’t so.
They need to just refuse the mods they don’t want. Or better yet just ignore the questions and say whatever they want when they get called on. That would be a lovely thing to watch.
“What a stupid question, Mr. Moderator! Instead of dignifying it, I would like to talk about...”
Imagine GM being asked to publicly interview candidates for the Ford CEO job, and it’s easy to understand what Reince Priebus is doing.
..."something that would be of interest to voters, such as"...
Wednesday's debate, along with the secretive budget deal worked out during weeks of secrecy and voted for at 3am, illustrate the RNC is the enemy.
Candidates rumble with good old boy clubs it’s about time.
Nahh, how ‘bout”
“We’re in a fight for the survival of the American Republic and none of us feel it necessary to be questioned by the propaganda arm of our common enemy.”
It took four election cycles until we had candidates with the cahones and backbone to talk back to the blabbering lib moderators! Thank you Sen Cruz, with kudos to Gov Christie and of course, The Donald!
Yeah, Rush hit it on the head the other day wherein he pointed out the mods did not care what the answer was going to be, they just wanted to frame a question which will stick with the candidate as baggage.
The RNC going on lib shows, why? Do they really think they are going to convince their lefty audience to vote for them?
They can’t because you know what the media will say when it’s done. Had a friend say it as well.
“Oh, they couldn’t answer such a simple question, why not?”
Preach it Bro!
I read a thread on here yesterday that said the RNC did complain to CNBC during the debate about Jeb not getting enough speaking time. With everything that was going on, that is what they complained about. If there was any doubt about where they stand that story should dispel it.

“F” Chuck Todd on Meet the Press is Jeb’s choice for how to spend Sunday morning.
Hard to make Michael Steele look good,
But Pribus may just have accomplished the impossible.
What a fool/
The point of a liberal debate is to promote the uniparty Bush.
If you're going to have televised debates, some of the moderators will be liberals -- especially if you count somebody like Megyn Kelly as a a liberal. It's not something that one could avoid that easily.
And tangling with liberal moderators could be practice for what the general election debates with the Democrats. I'm not saying the last debate was good or well-run, just that the media being what it is, Republican candidates can't avoid having to face liberal moderators in televised debates.
One thing I did notice is that many of the debates last time where co-sponsored by state parties. This meant that there were far too many debates. That's probably why things were changed.
But the old way could have meant an added layer of supervision. State and local parties might have exercised a little more control over who the moderators would be, and that control was lacking this time.
If the non-politician candidates weren’t running most likely the politician candidates would still be bowing down to the bias media.
