I wanted to create a thread where we can post email and snail mail addresses to flood correspondence demanding a new debate-style: one devoid of liberal MSM questions that attack and vilify the GOP candidates.
One solution is having talk-show hosts as moderators, like Rush, Levine, Ingraham, etch
Experts in their field asking questions in that field only could be a better path.
The debates have been money-makers, more than ever before. So much so that the cable news channels have attempted to increase the debate time by 50% after raising advertising rates to astronomical levels. So these unplanned debates could easily get air time, I would guess. Perhaps the candidates themselves could help fund the effort or push for the change.
Cruz mentioned on Hannity last night having Rush, Levine, and Hannity moderate, and Hannity said he'd contact Reince Priebus about it.
I thought everyone here sick of the MSM attacks on candidates should back this idea.
I may be posting this wrong, but my intent is good!
If you'd like to contact the RNC please email:
ecampaign@gop.com
ok, FRiends, let your friends know and please put your great ideas and contact information here!
Who would show these debates?
there is already a petition started for that
i will post it when I get home
On another thread I suggested A+E Networks (A&E, History); they might take it on because they would think of it as a version of reality TV ("let's all look at the freaks on the right!"), but the audience would know better--and given the ratings of the three MSM GOP debates, they might realize it would boost their network.
Live stream it over the internet, problem solved.
excellent, thank you!
Live stream it.
excellent, thank you!
The main job of the RNC is to make sure Hillary wins and takes her rightful place in the White House. Fair/honest debates won't help them in that regard, so writing them is a waste of time.
I think they can get more viewers via TV though. Even though last Night’s debate trailed the first 2 with 14 million viewers, it was still the most watched program in the networkâs history.
Ask Drudge to host an internet streaming. They can clear their site for an hour or two. Don`t know if this is needed but if so, enable smartphone access, many people have data package deals with their providers.
I don’t know who would show the debates. I’m no expert in any of this. I was hoping some would show up here ;)
Michael Savage just volunteered to be a moderator.
How many people have smartphones today?
Actually I think it’s a great idea, after some reflection. It cuts out the liberal journalists all together! Their heads would explode to see how irrelevant they have become through their own actions :)
True, I know the GOPe is useless. But I think to call it a Republican primary debate, it needs to be sanctioned by the RNC.
I was hoping to just get the ball rolling with one contact... it didn’t work ;(
I’ll have to look up some other addresses but don’t have time until tomorrow afternoon - or perhaps someone can help?
Hell, I NEVER thought I`d ever get roped into such a deal but my college aged girls convinced me to get one with T-Mobile. $118 a month with unlimited data for four phones. I don`t phone stream, man, I have two laptops, a desktop hooked into a big plasma screen, an all-in-one Lenovo and a Samsung Galaxy Tab, and I live alone! But they do use their phones to watch stuff, others their age do as well.
Kills two leftist birds at once by giving them the bird!
:)
I’m hoping we can get some momentum going here to let.... whoever makes these decisions.... know we don’t want any more liberal crap like last night.
Like I said, I’m no expert nor a leader. I was hoping one would show up.
You know, more of the millennial would watch the debates if they could watch on their phones. Being the first party to offer that might be a good idea. Commercial and liberal free!
