You see, these fact are just not important — at all. Now, if this were a Republican administration, well then this would be huge, with non-stop hand-wringing with dire warnings and pictures of grandma eating dog food in a snow bank.

So relax, this is Obama. It ain’t important.

So what advice would you give to a young adult today that is looking toward the future?

Develop something new for which a technology does not exist yet, or learn to put technologies (or sets of them) to new uses.

If these don't work, then head for the hills ;-)

What these numbers don’t reveal is that, as a result, both parents (when such a situation even exists) must work outside the home in order to make ends meet. Subsequently, increasingly, children are: home alone for periods of time, not receiving proper nurturing/upbringing, not experiencing a counter-balance to whatever liberal tripe they are hearing in the public schools.

The American Family, and not just the Middle Class, is being destroyed by this economy.

a large middle class wields too much political power for the ruling elite to tolerate, can't have that anymore. As two attendees seen on YouTube exiting a Bilderberg meeting (old white haired guys) being heckled by protesters, one remarked; We're allowing them to make too much money.

Or learn a good, solid trade. The country will always need plumbers, bricklayers, and electricians.

I just can’t believe this; of all Americans yeah, but all workers?? I’m not saying this is a lie, just can’t imagine it. How do people pay for all the nice houses and cars that I see.

The federal poverty level for a family of five is $28,410, and yet almost 40 percent of all American workers do not even bring in $20,000 a year.

Right here is where I pretty much stopped paying attention to his numbers.

When you roll out two unrelated facts, and pretend they are talking about the same thing, then you have nothing constructive to say.

LOL.

It is amusing how many kids are conditioned to turn their nose up at the “skilled crafts.” Meanwhile, the skilled crafts stay in demand.

A great path to affluence is the mechanical trades and related engineering.

That is what Illegals and Imports what Asia are for.

The Uniparty Ruling Class Made sure of that.

If Hard Working Americans got those jobs and still got hosed with all these taxes things might start to change.

A rather large chunk of the lower middle class ie. those that make less than 25k a year are also being propped up by EBT and SNAP cards too....

Numbers manipulation. They no doubt are including welfare recipients and illegal aliens. This is typical rich liberal class warfare.

It is amusing how many kids are conditioned to turn their nose up at the “skilled crafts.” Meanwhile, the skilled crafts stay in demand.

Very often the kids have no say in it. Our school district once had an excellent high school trades program. The classes were taught by master craftsmen. And the students even spent part of their school day working on houses in the neighborhood. We even had an auto body repair program.

Great program all around.

The the administrators killed the program, entirely. The shop classrooms are now used for storage.

The bosses never did give any solid reasons for getting rid of these trade programs, but I know why. The bosses get bonuses based on standardized state-wide test results. These tests measure English and (theoretical) math, but not practical skills. So the trade programs were shut down, and that time was devoted to math and English.
