The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is appealing to the U.S. government to take in 100,000 Syrian refugees by the end of the year, along with an additional 100,000 from other countries. The population of Syrian refugees is overwhelmingly Muslim.
In a message distributed via email, the USCCB is encouraging Catholics to submit a letter to their congressional representatives as well as to President Obama urging the government to "protect the lives and dignity of people in Syria, Iraq and in other countries suffering war, persecution and poverty." According to the pre-transcribed letter this is to be accomplished by accepting "more Syrian refugees especially the most vulnerable and ensur[ing] their safe resettlement" while providing "generous aid to nations in the Middle East that are hosting millions of refugees."

The USCCB is a criminal conspiracy. They hate the United States. They hate the Catholic Church. They are staffed almost entirely by pro-abortion, dyed-in-the-wool Democrats.
The remaining Catholic bishops in the United States should have severed all connection with the USCCB years ago.
They do. All the time.
Those refugees are called "Hispanics."
Stay safe my fellow American!
Well said, and welcome to FR.
Catholic does not equal Christ. Its just a sect of Christianity albeit a Roman pagan one.
Good they can fill the empty seats in their churches. Of course they won’t put a dime in the basket and might steal any money the guy next to them puts in, but’s another story. I DON’T want to be right about this but I don’t see it playing out any other way.
I agree. I’m a recovering Catholic. I’m at a crossroads in my life. The question is where to go next. One thing is for certain...it’s not back to a Catholic Church.
