WE'RE TOLD BY SHERIFFS THAT A BRINKS DRIVER WAS TRYING TO FILLING UP THE ATM WHEN A MAN JUST CAME UP BEHIND HIM, TRIED TO GET THE MONEY IN THAT BRINKS DRIVER STARTED SHOOTING THREE OR FOUR-TIMES AT THE SUSPECT BEFORE HE THEN RAMMED SOME VEHICLES. YOU CAN SEE ONE OF THEM RIGHT THERE THAT SMASHED UP ANOTHER ONE OVER HERE AS WE PAN TO THE LEFT.It is worth noting that the witnesses helped recover the cash and return it. This shows a high level of confidence in the criminal justice system.
Help out someone in trouble.
Nice to hear. I would’ve sworn that they’d scoop it up and run.
“civilized people”
Key words.
I kinda wonder what would have happened to the money if this had happened in Cook County, Ill instead of Orange County, Fla.
Methinks that Brinks driver needs a little range time.
Good thing that thug did not try that with my friend. R***** who works for Loomis. He would have been a dead robber.
Just when I start losing hope in humanity, good people come forth. God bless ‘em.
It’s about time you are back. Haven’t seen anything for you in awhile.
Also the driver routes are supposed to changed up so they can't be targeted...
Someone screwed up bigtime...
For a long time Brinks paid armored car crews a bounty for killing armed robbers attempting to knock over a truck. In the fifties, IIRC, $10k for a kill, $5k for wounding resulting in arrest. Big rewards for the time.
Knew a guy who loaded ATMs. He was robbed and got two .38 lead nose rounds center of mass. Body armor stopped them but it knocked the wind out of him. To add insult to injury the FBI interrogated him thinking it might be an inside job because the ammo was obviously insufficient to defeat the armor.
After watching the re-enactments of the armored car heists, I always go on full alert when seeing one outside a grocery/bank/box store. When I could, I exited from the far door. I carry, but I'm not a hero-in-waiting.

1200 mile trip and caring for 1 year old grandson...
