I'm such a hater, I truly am.

I hate lying, deceptive politicians with a purple passion, especially the ones who lie about how "pro-life" they are.

This morning I got a piece of junk mail in my PO box from Jeb Bush's "Right to Rise" PAC telling me how much the former governor has "promoted a culture of life." He uses "No Empty Washington Rhetoric," they say.

In fact, everything in this slick, expensive mailer is "empty Washington rhetoric". All Bush did as governor of Florida was pay lip service to protecting innocent human life, while, like most NRTL politicians, loading up the state code with more immoral, unconstitutional, lawless "and then you can kill the baby" provisions.

And when the rubber met the road, when the life of a helpless innocent like Terri Schindler Schiavo was on the line, Bush wouldn't lift a finger, even though he was the chief law enforcement officer of his state, and even though the Florida Constitution he swore to support and defend, in Article One, Section 2, absolutely requires the equal protection of the right to life of all persons, male and female, able or disabled.

One last thing, I also hate politicians who think we're stupid. And this piece of mail demonstrates beyond any doubt that Jeb Bush and his political hacks view us exactly that way.

A pox on his pathetic candidacy.

In the summer of 1980, GHWB figured out that if he didn't claim to be pro-life his political career was over.

He obviously taught his sons that it was important to claim to be pro-life, but no member of the Bush family has EVER done anything to promote the culture of life.

If Clinton and Reno could get Elian Gonzalez out of Florida, the Bushes should have been able to save Terri.
