It’s my understanding that Honda suspended manufacture of the CNG option Civics due to the drop in the cost of gasoline. The lowered cost difference between the two fuels made it no longer as attractive to sell.
Two years ago, I was seriously researching a CNG conversion for a car, preferably a Ford Taurus. I eventually determined it wasn’t cost effective and bought a regular Toyota Corolla that gets 34.5 mpg, a significant improvement over the SUV I was using.
