Watching Pope Francis on TV (unavoidable) my
personal opinion is that he is not humble. That little car is an affectation that makes it harder for those who protect him to do their job, things like walking through the Chamber instead of a subtle entrance, the politically cute things he says just don't seem humble. Plenty about policy toward migrants, but nothing about the horrors of the world and the nightmare they create. Very little use of Scripture or Church Doctrine to frame his pronouncements.
I know next to nothing about this topic, so it's just my impression. Am I alone?
