Doesn’t sound like a big fight, just takes the will to do it. Walker did not let his intentions be known concerning unions when he was running for governor. Both his elections were on off election years when Democrat participation was low.
If Dems had known what he had planned, I think they would have showed up in droves to vote against him and he would not be governor.
By the same token, anyone who is the nominee and proposes this would likely lose the general. There are no lengths Dems won’t go to preserve the power that they have through unions.
In the recall election, the Dems pulled out all the stops, and did show up in droves. Walker won.
This is a winning issue.
