Expectant parents wanting the best for their babies typically focus on the best strollers, cribs and cost-effective diapers.
But they might want to consider where best to have their baby. That place may not be Pennsylvania, with its low number of pediatricians, obstetrician-gynecologists and parental-support groups, and the lack of a baby-friendly environment.
Pennsylvania actually ranked next to last, ahead of only Mississippi, based on health care costs and available services and resources for babies and parents, according to WalletHub.coms 2015 rankings of the best and worst states in which to have a baby.

Gee, there’ve been articles posting here in the past about how the PA OB-GYNs are being force out of the state by the trial lawyers, who’ve had the state (commonwealth) legislature limit their own liability to $75K per incident for legal malpractice.
Compared to meh hee coe or Syria, Pennsylvania is an awesome place to have a baby, which is why we need to keep those primitives OUT.
Hmm, I wonder if there is a correspondingly high litigation rate, with laws favorable to litigation lawyers who extort sky-high payouts even when the doctor is not at fault?
I saw the headline and thought this was a post-script to the Kermit Gosnell trial.

Have as many children as you are blessed with.
Love them and help guide them into becoming G-dly people.
Cherish everyday with them.
Texas is pretty bad too, but for very different reasons.
The Mexican culture is third-world, even here. And we are up to our eyeballs with them. I wouldn’t even want to be one of their pets.
Add to that, live a healthy, holy life yourself, so that you are able to teach all of the above to your children.
N.E. Pa.has been turned into a sewer by crime and drugs.
I’ll keep that in mind for sure.
Really? My family is from Wilkes-Barre area. Haven’t been back to visit recently, but also relatives have not mentioned the crime or drug problems. Sad to hear this.
