Donald Trump Campaign Carrying On. . .
Coach is Right ^ | 9/09/15 | Ed Wood

Last week, Donald Trump held a news conference in which, if I counted correctly, he responded specifically to 46 direct questions — most of which were not very supportive. Frankly, I could not find a single instance in which any other candidate, either Democrat or Republican, had the guts to do that. And I also could not find a single instance in which I took issue with his positions.

1. Mr. Trump is his own man; finances his own campaign; solicits no political contributions and will be obligated to no lobbyist or PAC. How refreshing!

2. He stated the obvious: Those who offer financial support are expecting something in return. Why else would they donate?

3. He holds no animosity toward the people or the governments of China, Japan, Mexico, or elsewhere. Were he in their positions, he would be doing the same thing. He recognizes that their leaders are just smarter than ours. He plans to change all that.

4. He welcomes legal immigration. Says he wants a “large, wide, friendly” door into this, the greatest country on earth, and through which he expects to hire the best and brightest. He depends upon them for his business success. With our failing educational system, he can no longer attract them domestically. Logical?

Even the late Steve Jobs told the President that he would fire his 70,000 Chinese engineers if Mr. Obama could assure him of US-educated replacements. Obama’s response? Took another golfing vacation.

My son, who for the past twenty years has managed a facility in Crossville, TN for the grading, washing, and packaging of locally grown green vegetables, must, albeit reluctantly, now hire immigrant Guatemalans to do...

“My son, who for the past twenty years has managed a facility in Crossville, TN for the grading, washing, and packaging of locally grown green vegetables, must, albeit reluctantly, now hire immigrant Guatemalans to do the grunt work. Local residents, comfortable with their Obama entitlements, are just not interested. And this is not rocket science!”

“Immigrants” Ed? Or illegal aliens? Of course they’re illegals.

It’s tough to compete with wetbacks who live in trailers, a dozen or more in each double-wide, with several hanging from hooks in closets, and sell their labor for dimes over the dollars Americans need for subsistence and a minimum amount of dignity.
(subsistence noun sub·sis·tence: the amount of food, money, etc., that is needed to stay alive)

Those who say deportation won’t work, that all we really need to do is go after employers as the “comprehensive immigration reform” required to “fix our broken immigration system” would necessarily call for prosecuting guys like your son.
Guys like Ed’s son require a continuing supply of cheap, pliable, easily cowed labor.

Immigration based on relatives is bringing in seniors, unskilled, under-educated, immigrants. The seniors qualify for social security benefits, even having contributed zero social security taxes. The others are dumped on welfare system.

Only children of US citizens should be allowed as legal immigrants. All others must qualify based on skills or wealth brought in.

New Zealand has the right system in place. Either your skills are needed or you bring $1.5 million with you and pass English test to qualify as legal immigrant.

The Donald is not, nor could he ever be, a conservative. He has been trading on a populist and libertarian streak in the American people, and it is resonating at an astounding level.

The answers The Donald gives to questions speak to the concerns of a surprisingly broad swath of voters, and it cuts across a lot of artificial ideological positions. The unmotivated potential voters, and the low-information voters, are now engaged to a degree they have not been in YEARS, and there is a surprising degree of interest by persons who have been voting Democrats all their lives. Not “Reagan Democrats”, but AMERICAN Democrats, admittedly a diminishing breed, but still around.

In even the core constituencies of the Left, The Donald is making serious inroads, among female voters, among Hispanic voters (the LEGAL voters, that is), and even among black voters, possibly garnering as much as 25% of that demographic.

The Democrat party “leaders” have to be defecating bricks by now. How long are they going to stand by Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, now?

The amount of evidence you presented is overwhelming.

You could always look for "evidence" yourself but I suspect you won't. "Trump Fundraiser" is a fine search term.

That’s why the RATS have pushed through the most destructive policies they could since anointing zero.. they knew they’d be toast once they were done with their blowing up America in ‘16. They have rat governors that could win if they hadn’t.

As insurance they brought in millions more illegal hispanic voters... but now they see 65% of voters want those hispanics RETURNED TO SENDER.

Their only hope now is flooring the vote fraud machine, but vote fraud has to be ~ in the margin of error with polls, and Trump is setting polling results they can’t possibly code around.

And Trump is peeling off their deceived Dem voters.

So you throw out unsubstantiated claims and do not back them up with evidence and expect the reader to do your work for you? I think MSNBC or CNN is looking for some help...you should apply.

“Its also an outright lie.”

As has been pointed out you have nothing, nothing to substantiate your claim.

Well, I did look, and I want you to compare the amounts raised by Trump with those raised by Jeb, Hillary, Rubio, or even Cruz.

The media is just so used to calling campaign events "fundraisers" that they say it automatically. Sure, you are literally correct in that there have been events where a fee was collected. But, the amounts involved were pretty small compared to any other candidate. And, the truth is that no one is expecting any favor or political advantage from giving $100 to Trump's campaign.

And, as much as you might be right that money has been donated, Trump is correct that no one is expecting any favors for donating to him.

Don't feed the troll.

There are many on FR who have their tampons falling out over Trump. I'm not sure how conservative he is and Cruz is my #1 choice. That said, immigration is everything. Our current leaders don't like their uppity voters and are in the process of replacing us. If immigration slides and continues as the establishment wants, we will never have a say in our governance again.

GO TRUMP
