In her essay For The New Intellectual, Ayn Rand warned that our society was fast approaching the precipice of moral, intellectual, and philosophical bankruptcy with only two paths left for Americans to follow:
“they can evade the reality of their situation and act on a fanatic, blind, range-of-the-moment expediency — not daring to look ahead, wishing no one would name the truth, yet desperately hoping that something will save them somehow — or they can identify the situation, check their premises, discover their hidden assets and start rebuilding.”
America, at present, is following the first course as our intellectual leadership has collapsed under the pressing weight of a culture that has been indoctrinated into following the immoral philosophy of the Democratic Party. They don’t approach social problems pragmatically, looking for ways to improve this situation or that, except as a political expedient – a means to a greater end. To get a better understanding of what this philosophy looks like, we are given the following definition by none other than Hillary Clinton. Speaking at the University of Texas at Austin in 1993, Clinton defined the philosophical goal of the Democratic party in one sentence:
“Let us be willing to remold society by redefining what it means to be a human being in the 20th century!”
The situation need not be improved if the human being can be made to believe that their own influence cannot improve the given situation. This is what Hillary meant by redefined and remolded. The Democratic party follows lock-in-step.
As one of the former leaders of the New Left who has now turned into a fierce proponent for conservatism, David Horowitz, explains that the Democratic “party apparatus feeds off the entitlements of the welfare state: social workers, university intellectuals, trial lawyers, bureaucrats, and government unions are all clients of the big-government programs the party promotes”. The more the individual is given entitlements, the longer the individual is kept dependent upon the program in which the party promotes.
Today it has resulted in more than 23 percent of Americans being dependent on some form of welfare while the American workforce has become demoralized as millions have given up searching for jobs. Moreover, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the percent of Americans in the workforce — either working or seeking work under the Obama presidency has plummeted from 65.7 percent the month he took office in January 2009 to just 62.8 percent in November of 2014. That translates to more than 7 million fewer workers in the workforce.
Yet, to even highlight the fact that Democratic policies are disastrous for our nations workforce is to be demonized as enemies of progress, of social justice, and of minority rights. “Marxism may be dead”, notes David Horowitz, “but a Marxist moral imagination provides the ordnance for the Democrats’ political attacks.”
The validity of experience teaches us that the agenda behind their philosophy is nothing more than control and power as they sell their philosophy to the public by instilling a special, insidious kind of hatred for their opponents. Those opponents being individuals who retain the ability to think for themselves, a characteristic in which the Democrats despise as they force their miserable little personalities on every single person they meet. Nothing is more contemptible than their willingness to pander to human stupidity and emotions while they ignore basic facts and human intelligence.
Few Democrats have demonstrated this better than Barack Obama who panders to stupidity and emotions in his relentless push to sell policies ranging from Obamacare to the Iran deal. Daniel Greenfield of Front Page Mag elaborates that the “Obama toolbox is the same no matter what the issue might be. His political allies rush out smear campaigns accusing opponents of everything from treason to racism. The media fills with phony polls. The White House spews lies that it contradicts before denying that it ever contradicted them. Letters by ‘independent’ experts are solicited without those worthies admitting their ties to the White House.”
Obama’s foreign policy is just his domestic policy with enemies treated like oppressed minorities, highlights Greenfield noting that “Obama’s foreign policy has been one long string of miserable disasters, but we’re expected not to acknowledge that or allow it to influence our views as he promotes his latest foreign policy disaster” under the Iranian nuclear agreement.
“Forget giving Iran the benefit of the doubt, why after a track record of horrible disasters in the region, is Obama entitled to any benefit of the doubt on Iran” asks Greenfield. The reason he’s given the benefit of the doubt not only on this, but on so many other disastrous policies is due to his ability to tell carefully orchestrated lies to the American people without facing any opposition whatsoever.
And it isn’t just Obama either, it’s virtually the entire Democratic party that gets away with this, while the American people are given no alternatives.
Bruce Walker of American Thinker notes, “Leftism is a pathology of mendacity.” Walker continues:
“The grim reality is that dishonesty is so fundamental to leftism today that while all politicians connive with the facts a bit if they think that there is no chance of getting caught, the pathological liars of establishment leftism more and more resemble the Stalinist Lillian Hellman, about whom Mary McCarthy famously wrote: ‘Every word [she] writes is a lie, including ‘and’ and ‘the.’ The establishment media, like entrenched government bureaucracies and corrupt academia, long since stopped caring about intellectual integrity. All of these organs care only about either advancing an ideological agenda or protecting their comfortable perches and perks. Over the last fifty years or so, there has been virtually no governor or check upon the most outrageous frauds.”
The Democratic party spews lies on a daily basis as they concern themselves with single, concrete-bound, range-of-the-moment projects and demands, without regard to cost, context, or consequence. If it furthers the power and control of the party, they’ll utter lies, force through legislation, slander opponents, and destroy whatever gets in their way. They loathe the man that is independent and unafraid to take a stand for what he believes in, specially if that belief is rooted in Christianity, conservatism, and capitalism. The left are cowards, hypocrites, and most of all self-hating parasites who despise the American way of life.
As Ayn Rand explained in Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal, “The majority of those who are loosely identified by the term ‘liberals‘ are afraid to let themselves discover that what they advocate is statism. They do not want to accept the full meaning of their goal; they want to keep all the advantages and effects of capitalism, while destroying the cause, and they want to establish statism without its necessary effects.”
Posturing as humanitarians, they man the barricades to fight the “injustice,” “exploitation,” “repression,” and “persecution” they claim to find in America; as to the full reality of such things happening in places like Iran, Cuba, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Venezuela, and China, they keep their mouths shut and remain silent for they are cowards who do not want to know or to admit that they themselves are the champions of dictatorships and slavery.
We need to worry more about Establishment Republicans in D C, as they have given Obama 100% of what he wants since Nov. 2014.

Horowitz is the God Father.
Yaup, and the bigger picture to look at, that is seemingly being overlooked, is the fact that Congress has not only given up the power of the purse. They’ve also given up even uttering the word impeachment. Once you do that, you’ve literally given up the two checks that congress has to reign in a president. There is virtually nothing stopping Obama at this point, he is going to do whatever he wants to do and congress isn’t going to do a damn thing to stop him.
